A Tale of Ropes and Risk

The wheels for SFC were set in motion in 2002 when three dangerous dames—Death Valley, Venomiss and Switchblade—picked up the ropes for the first time. With nothing but a book of stick figures (and a whole lotta smarts), they stared down their doubts and struggled to teach themselves coordination, teamwork and endurance. They formed a fearless jumprope group whose name would be whispered for many years in saloons and lockups alike: Double Dutchess.

Death Valley Venomiss SwitchBlade

Finding their inspiration at the bottom of stiff cocktails in dark dive bars, the fiery lust-cats of Double Dutchess grew addicted to the rush they felt each time they nailed a fierce new trick. They sought complete mastery and eventually…they got their way.

SFC Emerges

As the pages of the calendar flipped backward, training, competing and performing were no longer enough to satisfy these jumping Jezebels. They needed more. More. It was then that they knew it was their mission to spread their hard-earned knowledge and passion for this nasty sport to other vixens and hellcats around the Bay. With that, the fog cleared and from its shadow emerged SFC.

SFC Double Dutch: Exposed!

SFC Double Dutch was founded in 2008 by Death Valley, Switchblade and Venomiss. Trampling on the scruples of good girls and well-mannered men, they created an underground studio where Double Dutch addicts (and soon-to-be addicts) could immerse themselves in the three things their mothers always warned them about: jazz, gin and jump rope.

Today these randy rope fiends teach three different class levels—Level 1, Level 2 and All Stars—kickin’ up trouble with everyone from first-time jumpers to expert tricksters.

WARNING: These girls will stop at nothing to rope you in.
